Information for Owners
The clinic is available to all emergency cases; by referral from non-participating practices and without referral if your Veterinary Practice participates in the Bristol Emergency Veterinary Service. Please always phone your own Veterinary Surgeon first, if they are participants in Bristol Emergency Vets you will either be given a number to ring us direct or automatically be re-directed to our triage nurses. If they are a non-participating practice we will only be able to provide emergency treatment if :
- You are referred to us by your Veterinary Surgeon (this involves a simple telephone call from your Veterinary surgeon to us).
- You are genuinely unable to contact your own Veterinary Surgeon.
Please Note - If you already a client of the Rowe Veterinary Group, this service is already available to you.For security reasons we are unable at present to provide a 'walk-in' service, in all cases you must ring ahead so we know who is coming and what the emergency is. This also helps us to prepare in advance of your arrival for any emergency treatment which may be required. Our telephone number is 01454 275000. Please remember to always ring your own Veterinary Surgeon first.
Further Therapy:
All follow-up therapy necessary for your pet will be done by your normal Veterinary Surgeon at his/her facility unless requested otherwise. When your pet leaves our clinic, your Veterinary Surgeon will receive complete information on all treatments given by Bristol Emergency Vets. For your pet's benefit, please follow-up as suggested.
